Travis算是本人最爱的英伦团之一了 喜欢主唱Fran略显慵懒的舒适声音
在他们的专辑中 这张《The Boy With No Name》可算是最喜欢的一张
实在是很好听 以至于找不出特别推荐的曲目 这张专辑真的很适合在这样的季节塞进MP3带上去出游
相信大家对这个乐队和这张专辑一定已经很熟悉 我就不多做介绍了
两年期的专辑 今天又拿出来发是因为前几天刚刚收到了日本版的高音质 有两首Bonus Track
《The Great Unknown》是一首相对偏闹的摇滚 《Perfect Heaven Space》则相对舒缓
吉他钢琴的铺陈 典型的优雅的英伦风 旋律流畅 总觉得这样的音乐如果换了别人 一定没有Fran这般让人着迷

专辑介绍：

The Boy with No Name is the fifth studio album by Scottish alternative rock band Travis. The album is due for release on May 7, 2007 in the United Kingdom and May 8, 2007 in the United States. “Closer” will be released as the first single from the album in the United Kingdom on April 23, 2007 (see 2007 in British music).

The name of the album came about when lead singer Francis Healy and his partner Nora were deciding on a name for their newly born son. During this time, he sent a photo of his son to friend by email and labeled the photo “The Boy with No Name”. Healy revealed this on the The Chris Moyles Show during an interview. Healy has also revealed in pre-album release performances that some tracks are influenced by his developing family status, such as “My Eyes” being about his new son or “Battleships” referring to ups and downs of relationships.

我最爱的英伦团就是他们了 Travis 2008年的全新大碟《Ode to J.Smith》
其实从上张专辑《The Boy With No Name》才开始认真听他们的歌
主唱那低沉又略带忧伤的声音 一直是我最不能抵抗的类型 在加上转音的一点点慵懒迷幻 完了 我就这样沉沦了
上张专辑最爱的是第一首就让我眼前一亮 听到最后一首的时候 还是在赞 他们的旋律太赞了 编曲和声音都太赞了
居然还有隐藏曲目 是和专辑里所有的歌不一样的 很安静的Demo似的歌
然后 我就去找他们之前的专辑补课 于是 在短短的一年内 他们成长为我最爱的英伦团体
居然这么快 他们的新专辑又来了 我有种还没缓过神来的惊喜 这两天一直在听这张
这张前面的歌偏重 和以前慵懒迷幻的小英伦感觉不大一样 有点大Rock的感觉了 在某些歌曲中加入了电子的元素
反而越往后听风格越回归 听到最后两首的时候 又有种“这才是我熟悉的Travis！”的感觉
慵懒 迷幻 感性 忧伤 优雅的旋律 低沉磁性的声音 我很奇怪 为什么每次他们的专辑 最后一首歌都能这么好听
喜欢英伦的朋友 这张可不要错过了 即使不爱这样的风格 这样的声音也是你不该错过的

专辑简介:

In 1996, Fran Healy borrowed 600 from his mum to pay for the recording of
Travis’s very fi rst single. That track, the rousingly self-descriptive All I
Want To Do Is Rock, was released on the band’s own label, Red Telephone Box,
with a sleeve designed by Healy. Only 750 copies were
made, but that was enough to kick-start a career for the four Glaswegian pals
which has since reaped numerous hit singles, awards, platinum-selling albums and
festival headline slots. Famous Now, twelve years on, the band have made ‘Ode To
J Smith’, their loudest, edgiest and most arresting record since that formative
track. Fittingly, they’re revived Red Telephone Box to release it, with Healy
once again handling artwork duties. The big difference this time is that, having
shifted ten million albums in the intervening period, Mrs Healy’s funding was
not required.

这张是去年五月的专辑 来自老牌的英伦乐队Travis 个人听的欧美音乐多是Indie和相对安静的Pop Hip-Hop都不大能接受 只是挑些旋律不错的听
偏重的摇滚也听的很少很少 唯独对英伦的Pop Rock没有抵抗力 基本是听了就会喜欢的
很奇怪这张发行的时候我为什么没有更新 我今天翻了一下 确实没有更新
大概是看到当时影月更新了 所以偷了懒 最近又把这张翻出来听 越听越喜欢 觉得不更新有点对不起自己
英伦的音乐似乎是打上标签的 不看简介单听歌就能猜到某张唱片是来自那个国度
Travis的主唱有着低沉的好声音 这种低沉不是让人觉得抑郁的沉 是那种让人沉浸其中的魔力
专辑中的歌曲写的是他们生活中的事情 让人听来觉得亲切平实 流畅的节奏和旋律能迅速的抓住你的耳朵
专辑可谓是有始有终 最后一首歌是一首偏民谣的清新小品
惊喜的是 在三分钟的空白之后 又有音乐响起 这首隐藏曲目同样优秀 为专辑划上圆满的句号
曾经疏忽 没有仔细的品味这张专辑 如果你们也和我那时一样没有留意这张 现在赶紧补上吧

新专辑的制作人仍然是他们的老合作人Nigel Godrich（英国金牌制作人，Radiohead,U2,Beck）。新专辑共收录12首歌曲，附带一首Hidden Track。之前网上流传的Hidden Track是和英国女唱作人KT Tunstall合作的Under The Moonlight ，这点前几天官方已经公布了正确的Hidden Track是Sailing Away。而Under The Moonlight 则是专辑的第9首歌曲。新专辑的封面是他们在美国纽约帝国大厦的建筑群拍摄完成。新专辑的名字很奇怪，看起来和专辑并没有什么关系。而Fran在之前接受BBC的The Chris Moyles Show 节目采访时，解释了新专辑名字的由来。The Boy With No Name 来自Fran的家庭，来自他们刚刚出生的儿子。在他们儿子刚刚出生几个星期后，Fran给他们的朋友发送儿子的照片，并且说孩子还没有名字。那时正是Fran和他的妻子Nora决定儿子名字的时候。在加上新专辑有一些歌曲的创作来自家庭和Fran的生活关系，所以Fran决定用这个The Boy With No Name 来命名新专辑的名字。专辑中的My Eyes 就是Fran这个好父亲写给他刚出生的儿子的歌曲。而Battleships则是Fran描写他和妻子Nora的关系。专辑最后一首New Amsterdam，是专辑中最长的歌曲，长达9分26秒。歌曲仍然分俩部分，这个和上张《12 Memories》中的最后一首9分21秒的Walking Down the Hill 相似，第一部分到2分半，而后就是3分中的空白间隔，然后快到6分时，又响起新的歌曲。同样动听万分。听完后，让我感觉很满足。新专辑Travis仍然坚持了他们特有的音乐风格，清新英式摇滚加上他们特有的抒情的音乐。让人陶醉万分。
